Break-in at the Louvre: “Security measures worked”

Paris – Following the theft of historic jewels from the Louvre in Paris, France’s Culture Minister Rachida Dati has denied problems with the world-famous museum’s security system. “Did the security measures at the Louvre fail? No, they didn’t fail. That’s a fact. The security measures worked,” Dati said during a question time in the Paris Parliament on Tuesday afternoon.
