CBF defines field commands for the Copa do Brasil semi-finals

Round-trip semi-final games will be played on December 10th and 14th

The field teams for the semi-finals were drawn this Wednesday, at the headquarters of , in . In the first leg, Cruzeiro faces Corinthians at home, while Vasco faces Fluminense over their dominance. With this, the black and white and tricolors receive the game back at home. Furthermore, the draw also defined that the winner of Cruzeiro x Corinthians will be the home team in the first leg of the final. The winner of Vasco and Fluminense receives the return match from the decision.

The draw included the participation of the coaches and captains of the four semi-final teams: on Vasco’s side, Fernando Diniz and Pablo Vegetti were the representatives; Luis Zubeldía and Thiago Silva were present for Fluminense; Dorival Júnior and Maycon represented Corinthians; and Leonardo Jardim and Lucas Silva were present for Cruzeiro.

According to the CBF, the round-trip semi-final games will be played on December 10th and 14th. On the other hand, the duels valid for the final of the Copa do Brasil are scheduled for the 17th and 21st of the same month. All semi-finalists have already been champions of the competition. Cruzeiro, with six titles, is the biggest champion of the Copa do Brasil, while Corinthians has already lifted the cup three times. Fluminense and Vasco each won a title.
