Saving on teachers, distributing money to clients: This is how we don’t restructure our budget

Austria’s budget will never be able to be restructured. Anyone who looks at the processes surrounding a new tax exemption for companies must come to this conclusion. The tax goodie was passed quietly in parliament last week; the expected additional costs for the state are 220 million euros. Companies receive a higher subsidy than before for new investments.
