Helicopter picks up several tons of garbage from Kärntner Berg


Villach – In the previous week, around three tons of garbage were removed from the south side of the Dobratsch in Carinthia, as the Austrian Federal Forests (ÖBf) announced in a broadcast on Monday. Together with the mountain rescue service, the Carinthian mountain rescue service and Villacher Alpenstraßen GmbH, the illegal bulky waste was recovered from the sensitive natural area with the help of a helicopter. According to the ÖBf, the campaign is said to have cost five to ten thousand euros.
