A garrison from the Mâncio Lima Military Fire Department was called on Monday night (27), to capture a boa constrictor that invaded a residence in the Guarani neighborhood. The incident was recorded at 8:21 pm.

According to the resident’s report, the snake had already preyed on two chickens before the firefighters arrived.

The boa, which measured approximately 1 and a half meters (1.5m) in length, was captured by the garrison using appropriate techniques and safety equipment, such as gloves and pins.

Thanks to the careful action of the military, the animal was rescued without any injuries. After capture, the boa constrictor was transported and returned to its natural habitat, away from the urban area, thus ensuring the safety of both residents and local fauna.
