The president of the FPA (Agricultural Parliamentary Front), deputy Pedro Lupion (-PR), will join the party of the governor of , this Wednesday (29).
The membership event, at the party headquarters in Brasília, must be attended by Tarcísio, in addition to the president of the Chamber, (Republicanos-PB), and the president of the Republicans, deputy Marcos Pereira (SP).
The FPA is one of the most influential and expressive forces in Congress, with 303 of the 513 deputies and 50 of the 81 senators.
Lupion is in his second term as . With his membership, the Republican bench now has 45 federal deputies.
Preferred among central parties, such as Republicans, PP and União Brasil, to run for Presidency of the Republic in 2026, Tarcísio has said that he will run for re-election to Palácio dos Bandeirantes.
