Sánchez declines the fight with Feijóo in Congress: “Today is not the day. Today is the day of the victims of dana”
The leader of the PP, Alberto Núñez Feijóo, has accused the President of the Government of lying, of being afraid of the street and the truth and of not having a plan B to govern – after the withdrawal of support by Junts -, predicting that he will also lie on Thursday in his appearance before the commission of inquiry into the Koldo case in the Senate. On the other hand, Sánchez has avoided responding to any accusation, hiding behind the fact that today marks one year since the damage that caused 229 deaths in Valencia and, therefore, “today is not the day.” “Today is the day of the victims of dana, a very hard day for the families, for the people who have lost everything, a day of pain for the Valencian Community and to thank the solidarity of the young people of the province of Valencia and to vindicate the public workers who did an extraordinary job to protect the lives of citizens.”
Feijóo had asked him if he planned to tell the truth in the Senate and the president has exhausted his time in the first intervention, leaving himself, therefore, without the possibility of replying to the second intervention of the PP leader.
