Right-wing governors are planning a trip to this Thursday (30) to provide support to their colleague (), after one that left an official count of at least 64 dead and which was .
The articulation is being made by the governor of Santa Catarina, (PL), according to (), from Goiás.
The decision was taken during a videoconference held this Wednesday morning (29) and which also included the participation of Castro and the governors of , (Republicans), Minas Gerais, (Novo), and Mato Grosso, (União Brasil), in addition to Caiado.
“Governor Jorginho Mello was also responsible for contacting other governors who were unable to enter at the same time of 9am”, says Caiado.
“And he will send us the time that we will be there in Rio de Janeiro, bringing not only our solidarity, but also everything that Rio de Janeiro needs at this moment to be able to free the population of Rio.”
The Rio government also received support from Paraná. This Tuesday (28), the Public Security Secretary of the Ratinho Jr. (PSD) administration, Colonel Hudson Teixeira, called his colleague from Rio de Janeiro, Victor Santos, offering support and reinforcement. Santos thanked him and said that at the moment it was not necessary, however.
In addition to providing solidarity, the governors will offer support to Rio de Janeiro’s security forces, offering troops to try to help contain criminal organizations in the state.
