Fanny Rodrigues was the special guest on the program ‘Passadeira Vermelha’ this Thursday, October 30th, and was alongside Catarina Miranda, Sara Norte and Joana Latino to comment on current affairs in the world of celebrities.
The former TVI presenter was also challenged by host Liliana Campos to answer some questions about her personal and professional life and made several revelations.
At one point, when talking about her struggle with weight, Fanny Rodrigues said that she always felt good about her extra weight, remembering however that, due to the pressure that exists on television, she decided to embark on several diets to lose weight.
“I really wanted to do television and everyone knows that television lives on its image and they said to me: “Have you ever seen a fat presenter? No, right? So lose weight.” (…) I slept to avoid eating, this is true. You shouldn’t do that at home because it’s not right. I slept to avoid eating, I followed every diet that exists on the face of the earth (…)”realized.
After remembering that she then weighed 55 kilos and then became pregnant, having gained 30 kilos, Fanny Rodrigues spoke about current affairs and the fact that she continues to hear criticism of her body.
“Now I’m a ‘corpse’, a ‘walking skeleton’, thirty by a line. But the truth is that I’m fine in my body, I feel wonderful. When I see myself on television I’m no longer like ‘I could lose a little weight or stop eating a little’. I feel good, I’m fine, my boyfriend likes what he has, he also encourages me to go to the gym. I eat everything, I’m still a green street but I go to the gym”he assured, thus ‘resting’ those most concerned about their bodies.
