A young man (20) was injured in a shooting in Madunice: the police have charged a man

The police charged a 57-year-old man from the Piešťany district in connection with the shooting that took place last week on Thursday (October 30) in the village of Madunice in the Hlohovec district. A 20-year-old man suffered a gunshot wound and was taken to the hospital by an ambulance. The Trnava regional police reported about it on the social network.

As she stated, the accused man should have shot himself in one of the family houses in the village of Madunice under the influence of alcohol, while handling a weapon that he illegally possessed. “A shot hit a young man sitting in the same room on a sofa,” zoomed in.

The police officers restricted the perpetrator’s personal freedom shortly after the deed. “The investigator accused the man of committing crimes of bodily harm and illegal arming and trafficking in weapons, for which he faces a prison sentence of up to eight years. The accused man is being prosecuted at large.” added the police.
