Turkey’s Foreign Minister stated this Monday (3.Nov.2025) that Hamas is ready to transfer control of the Gaza Strip to a Palestinian committee. The announcement comes after a meeting in Istanbul involving ministers from Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Indonesia, Pakistan, Jordan and the United Arab Emirates to discuss the status of the ceasefire between the extremist group and Israel.
Fidan declared that Palestinians must govern their own territory and that Gaza needs to be rebuilt after 2 years of destruction. He also said that “no action that undermines the ceasefire should be permitted. This process requires patience and determination.” The information is from .
