A Blau Pharmaceutical reported this Tuesday (4) recurring net profit of R$72 million in the third quarter, amount 4,6% superior compared to the same period in 2024.
The operational performance measured by the Adjusted EBITDA of the company had 3% decline during the period, remaining in R$114 million.
A net revenue totaled R$475 million, showing stability in relation to the third quarter of 2024, according to the company.
Highlight of the results, the gross margin advanced for the 8th consecutive quarter, to 41%. The result was favored by the completion of the restructuring process at the Bergamo unit, reaching the same level as the other factories.
“Sales mix and dollar also favored, while provision at Hemarus had a negative impact”, according to the company’s report.
“Analyzing the third quarter numbers in isolation, one could get the wrong impression that the company is not evolving,” said Blau’s executive president, Marcelo Hahn, in the balance sheet.
But the executive mentioned that in the third quarter there was an expansion of production capacity by at least 70% in volume, “with new lines and efficiency measures” and that there were advances in monoclonal antibodies, with two molecules in the manufacturing phase and another molecule in the development phase.
