Retail sales in the euro zone fall 0.1% in September compared to August

As sales no retail and area do euro fell 0,1% in September compared to August, according to seasonally adjusted data published by agency da official UE (European Union), the Eurostatthis Thursday (6).

The September result frustrated analysts consulted by FactSetwhich predicted an increase in 0,3% in sales.

In the annual comparison, sales in the bloc’s retail sector expanded by 1% in September.

Sales data for August were revised, showing a drop of 0.1% compared to July and gain annual of 1,6%.
