Riyadh – Kazakh Jelena Rybakina won the WTA finals for the best tennis players in Riyadh for the first time in her career. In the final she defeated world number one Aryna Sabalenka from Belarus. Rybakina used the first match point after 108 minutes to make it 6:3, 7:6(0). The 26-year-old was only the last player to qualify for the season finale of the top eight. Overall, it was Rybakina’s third tournament victory this year and her 15th WTA title.
