Flamengo announced this Saturday (8) the contract renewal of attacking midfielder Giorgian de Arrascaeta. Previously, the contract between the parties would last until the end of 2026. The new contract also allows for an extension of another year upon achievement of established goals.
Alongside football executive José Boto, he revealed his happiness at remaining in Rio de Janeiro for a few more years.
“It’s one of the happiest news of my career. I always wanted to stay at Flamengo and continue writing this story. I have a lot of gratitude to the Nation, which has always supported me, and I want to continue giving back on the field. The focus now is on the final stretch of the season, but Flamengo has always been my priority”, he celebrated.
