The president of the Chamber, (-PB), authorized this Friday (7) that the sessions from November 10th to 21st, the period in which the meeting is held, will be semi-presential. In other words, deputies will be able to register their presence and vote through a cell phone application.
In practice, some deputies are already counting on a type of informal recess during this period. Motta, however, has already indicated that he intends to take it to a vote in the plenary next week, in response to .
Motta’s decision responds to a request signed by leaders of 17 parties for the sessions during COP30 to be semi-presential.
As shown by SheetMotta issued a decision last week relaxing the rules of the so-called “fluff” — whose official name is Quota for the Exercise of Parliamentary Activity — for during COP30.
Under the transitional rules, parliamentarians will have specific reimbursement for air tickets to and from Belém and for renting property contracted from individuals.
The “fluff” directs a monthly budget to the 513 deputies ranging from R$37,000 to R$51,000 to reimburse expenses on airline tickets, food, office rental, advertising, among others.
