Austria’s ice hockey men surprise with a 5-2 win against Germany

Landshut – Austria’s national ice hockey team surprised the hosts at the Germany Cup. The ÖEHV selection showed a convincing performance in the 5:2 (1:0,1:1,3:1) in Landshut on Saturday. Vinzenz Rohrer (15th/SH, 52nd), Paul Huber (32nd), Leon Wallner (41st) and Dominic Zwerger (55th) scored for Austria. In the meantime, Germany equalized to 1:1, the 2:5 was a cosmetic result. The last opponent in the tournament on Sunday is another Olympic starter, Latvia.
