The mayor of , (MDB), signed this Saturday (8), a technical cooperation agreement with the mayor of , , to carry out an exchange of sustainability and urbanism projects amid the work of the United Nations Climate Conference, , in the capital of Pará. The ceremony was held at the Belém city hall. After the signing, the mayor of Paris was taken to visit a museum that operates there.
“The mayor is a reference when it comes to walkable cities, tree-lined and resilient cities, and also a reference in sustainable urbanism, so for us it is a reason for satisfaction and a moment in which Belém takes a major turn and enters the map of the planet, today having this opportunity to sign this technical cooperation agreement that will enable our city to be even more capable of facing post-Cop30 challenges”, stated the mayor.
