Paul Cabannes was invited by the French embassy in Brazil to show behind the scenes of the French president’s visit
French comedian Paul Cabannes was invited to join the French president’s entourage, (Renascimento, center), during his visit to COP30 in Belém. The French embassy in Brazil partnered with the influencer – who has lived in Brazil since 2015 and has 2.4 million followers on Instagram – to show behind the scenes of Macron’s visit.
The French president arrived in the country on November 5th, visiting Salvador (BA) and Belém. He then went to Mexico on Friday (November 7th, 2025), where the comedian continued to accompany him.
In , Cabannes showed the French president’s visit to Brazil. In Salvador, Macron visited the Pierre Verger Gallery, the Benin Museum and strolled through the city’s historic center. The president also participated in the opening of the Festival “Our Brazil-France Future: Dialogues with Africa”, where with members of the band Olodum.

In Belém, Macron at the COP30 Leaders’ Summit, where they discussed the expansion of cooperation in the field of nuclear energy, considered strategic for the completion of the Angra 3 plant. Another prominent topic was the advancement of biofuels and low-emission hydrogen policies. Then, the French president went to Mexico to strengthen political and strategic ties with the country.

Cabannes is French, but has lived in Brazil since 2015. The comedian was also invited by Macron to receive the Brazilian delegation in Paris, in June, when President Lula went to France to discuss the agreement between the European Union and Mercosur.
When Macron came to Brazil for the G20, in November 2024, Cabannes was invited by Itamaraty to participate in the event and meet with the French president.
