Government of SP creates group to assess those involved in operation – 11/11/2025 – Panel

The government of São Paulo created a working group to prosecute those involved in tax evasion in , , which sought to dismantle the infiltration of companies in the fuel sector and the financial market.

The GT was established by order of the General Executive Directorate of Tax Administration and its purpose is to analyze and propose tax actions as a result of the seizures carried out in the operation.

According to the ordinance, the working group will be responsible for organizing, sorting and technically analyzing the files and evidence obtained in the operation, in addition to identifying the taxpayers involved, any intermediaries and commercial links relevant to the tax assessment.

The group will also prepare technical reports and opinions containing proposals for tax actions, control measures and improvement of procedures, and must forward a conclusive report with recommendations and results obtained to the Inspection Department.

Five tax auditors from the state Revenue Service will receive 165 points per day, as a way of stimulating productivity. According to the ordinance, the Working Group coordinator must evaluate the reports sent by participants on the achievement of goals on a monthly basis. Anyone who fails to reach the goals twice in a row will be excluded from the group.

The term of the GT is three months, extendable.

When contacted, the Finance Department informed that the main objective is “to determine the centralization of the natural work resulting from this type of operation, speeding up analyzes with better integration of the Working Group’s team of tax auditors.”

“The mention of the score is necessary because it deals with work not linked to the natural supervisors of the participating tax auditors, ensuring their productivity for the work carried out”, he indicates.
