Midfielder Oscar presented cardiac changes during an exam, on Tuesday morning (11), at the São Paulo training center. The 34-year-old athlete was taken to Einstein Hospital Israelista, where he remains under observation. According to the club, his situation is stable.
The “intercurrence with cardiological changes” occurred during a preparation test for the 2026 season. Einstein’s medical team was in the CT, in the Barra Funda neighborhood, and provided immediate care, before taking the player.
Oscar has not played since July 19, in a match against Corinthians valid for the Brazilian Championship. That day, he suffered fractures in three vertebrae. In October, when he tried to return, he injured his right calf.
