The shipowner Stephen Curry, the main name of the Golden State Warriors, is expected to return to the team tonight to face the Oklahoma City Thunder. The duel, in Oklahoma, starts at 10pm (Brasília time). Curry has not played in the Warriors’ last three games, sidelined with an unspecified illness he contracted during the team’s trips to Milwaukee and Indiana. However, yesterday, his name was removed from the Warriors’ official problems list.
The last duel with Curry took place in the early hours of November 4th to 5th, when the Golden State Warriors beat the Phoenix Suns 118 to 107. Since then, the star has been rested due to illness. Despite the loss of weight, the franchise did not disclose details about the type of illness or the symptoms presented – but it was a temporary health problem and unrelated to muscle or joint injuries.
Coach Steve Kerr had already announced on Sunday (11/09), after the victory over the Indiana Pacers, that the expectation was to have Curry this Tuesday.
