In Group B, Switzerland hosted Sweden and won 4-1. Ndoye, Xhaka, Manzambi and Embolo scored for the home team, while Nygren scored the only goal for the Swedish team. With the victory, the Swiss reached 13 points. Kosovo follows, with 10. The two teams face each other on Tuesday (11/18).
In Group J, Belgium had the chance to qualify for the , but ended up only drawing 1-1 with Kazakhstan away from home. The goals were scored by Satpaev for the home team, and Vanaken for the visitors. If the Belgian team won away from home, they would be guaranteed the World Cup.
