The pressure from member companies on the Austrian Economic Chamber (WKO) to undertake reforms in the chamber organization itself is increasing following the forced departure of President Harald Mahrer (ÖVP). And politically, Mahrer’s successor Martha Schultz is also receiving calls to set the course for a new start – with far-reaching structural reforms as the goal.
