Not only are the railways and roads in Germany ailing, German shipping is also suffering from systems that are in need of renovation. This became clear at a parliamentary evening organized by the German Transport Forum in Berlin to finance port infrastructure. According to estimates, 15 billion euros are needed for the seaports and three billion for the inland ports.
