Belgrade – After US sanctions were imposed on the Russian majority owner of the only Serbian refinery NIS in Pancevo near Belgrade on October 9th, it had to temporarily stop production. This was reported by the TV station N1. If the situation does not change by Thursday at the latest, the refinery would probably have to be permanently mothballed, President Aleksandar Vučić said at a press conference.
