The North American magazine Variety released its prediction list of nominees and possible winners for the 83rd edition of the Golden Globes. The Hollywood Foreign Press Association ceremony will take place on January 11th.
The Brazilian actor Wagner Moura49, is pointed out as the favorite to win the statuette for Best Drama Actor for his work in “The Secret Agent”in competition against Joel Edgerton from “Train Dreams”, Collin Farrell from “Ballad of a Player”, Oscar Isaac from “Frankenstein”, Dwayne Johnson from “Fighter’s Heart” and Michael B. Jordan from “Sinners”.
What could also receive a nomination for one of the main categories is the film itself. Kleber Mendonça Filhowhich is predicted as indicated by Best Drama Film alongside “Frankestein”, “It Was Just An Accident”, “Sinners”, “Sentimental Value” and the winner, “Hamnet”. The filmmaker is also nominated in the category of Film Script, and “The Secret Agent” appears on the list of nominations for Non-English Language Film.
