The Russian ambassador to Moldova, summoned this Wednesday by the Moldovan Foreign Minister, following incursions with drones in that country, had the unpleasant surprise, when he left the meeting, of facing one of these pieces of equipment, with the inscription “Z”.
The pro-European government of Moldova, a country located between Ukraine and Romania, and a member of NATO, later published on social media the video showing the diplomat visibly surprised on the ministry’s porch.

Asked about the matter by the media, the Kremlin representative, Oleg Ozerov, tried to look goodsuggesting that it was an armed coup, since the drone had been found on the roof of the house without having caused destruction.
According to the Russian diplomat, the incident is nothing more than one of the “multiple attempts [da Moldávia] of damaging bilateral relations, which are already at the lowest point in their history”.
Six drones violated Moldova’s airspace on Tuesday, causing the evacuation of the population from a location where a drone crashed, according to the government.
The Chisinau government said it was handed over to Russian diplomat Ozerov “a note of protest regarding this totally unacceptable illegal overflight” and the “serious violation of sovereignty” from Moldova.
Moldova’s airspace has been violated several times since Russia’s invasion of neighboring Ukraine, em 2022.
For this reason, the country expelled several Russian diplomats and approved, at the beginning of November this year, a bill to close, until next summer, the Russian center “in no way” culturalaccording to official statements.
The measure, qualified as “Russophobia”was condemned by the Kremlin and the pro-Russian opposition in the country.
