In 2019 the contact and advice center #we_do! founded by the umbrella organization of Austrian filmmakers and has since been campaigning for more fairness and against harassment, discrimination and violence in film and television productions in Austria. According to a press conference on Thursday, the work has paid off: with the help of complex consulting, conflict resolution and prevention offerings, production companies’ awareness of ensuring a safe workplace has increased. In addition, public relations work made structural discrimination and abuse of power visible.
