A man died, this Tuesday (2), after being hit by an iron bar while performing a bench press exercise at a gym in Olinda, Greater Recife. The accident happened last Monday (1).

The man manages to get up, but soon falls to the ground, being helped by employees and members of the gym. See below:
In a statement, RW Academia — where the incident occurred — reported that the entire team provided immediate assistance to the student,
“We convey our most sincere condolences to his family and friends, wishing them strength and comfort in this moment of immeasurable pain. Ronald José Salvador will always be remembered with respect and affection by everyone who was part of his journey in our community”, they lamented on social media.
Ronald’s wake will take place this Wednesday (3) and the burial will take place in the Morada da Paz cemetery – Paulista (PE).
According to the Civil Police, the case was registered as an accidental death on Tuesday (2), by the Rio Doce Police Station. The investigations remain ongoing.
