Mexico and South Africa will open the 2026 World Cup on June 11th at the Aztec Stadium in Mexico City. South Korea and the winner of the UEFA Play-off D were also drawn to the co-hosts in Group A. The USA will face Australia, Paraguay and the winner of UEFA Play-off C in Pool D. The third co-organizer Canada is also competing against a European play-off winner. France drew a difficult group, but things are looking good for Germany and Spain on paper.
