More than a year after the implementation deadline, the federal government has presented a new draft (NISG 2026) for the implementation of the EU cybersecurity directive NIS2, which is intended to increase the level of cybersecurity in the EU. Cyber attacks like those at EU airports a few months ago are just one of numerous examples that show how important it is to upgrade cybersecurity.
