Jerusalem – Israel has legalized 19 Jewish settlements in the occupied West Bank. Israeli media reported this on Friday, citing a government decision late on Thursday evening. The Palestinian Authority immediately condemned the move. The proposal for legalization came from the right-wing extremist Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich and Defense Minister Israel Katz.
