The USA is tightening its sanctions against Venezuela. The US Treasury Department told the AFP news agency in Washington on Thursday that the new punitive measures were aimed at six shipping companies that transport Venezuelan oil. In addition, the assets of three nephews of Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro are being frozen in the USA.
