The oil tanker seized by the United States, linked to Venezuela, is expected to sail to a North American port, where the government intends to confiscate its oil cargo through a formal legal process, White House spokeswoman Karoline Leavitt said on Thursday.
Officials said the Justice Department approved a warrant authorizing the seizure of the vessel, Leavitt said.
