Vienna/Munich – CSU boss Markus Söder questioned Germany’s participation in the Eurovision Song Contest (ESC) on Friday. “When I now experience how there is discussion in Europe about boycotting the ESC, the European Song Contest, because Israel is taking part. Friends, if you don’t want to do it, then we won’t do it either. We never win anyway, we just have to pay for everything anyway,” said Bavaria’s Prime Minister in his keynote speech at the conservative CSU party conference in Munich.
