Lucas Borbas26, used social media, this Saturday (13), to give updates on the influencer’s health condition Isabel Veloso19.
“Isabel has had some complications these days, the treatment has been difficult and, at times, refractory. Today I went to visit her… and, honestly, it’s impossible not to be impressed”, Lucas began in his Instagram stories.
“Even in such a delicate moment, she continues to be strong. She continues to be light. Isabel can illuminate even the most difficult days. You are inspiration. You are light. I love you”, he concluded.
Isabel was admitted to the ICU for the first time on November 27, after having a respiratory crisis and needing to be intubated. After a few days, she was able to breathe on her own again and was left to rely solely on tube feeding.
On October 24th, Isabel underwent a bone marrow transplant and was discharged ahead of schedule. In the photo in which she shared the good news, she posed with a certificate with the phrase: “The bone marrow got me.”
Despite reacting well to the procedure and being discharged ahead of schedule, a few days later she had to return to the hospital. Isabel was intubated again in the early hours of December 4th, after the doctors diagnose severe pneumoniaaccording to updates given by her husband, Lucas Borbas, on social media.

Isabel Veloso discovered that she had Hodgkin’s lymphoma at the age of 15, when she began intensive treatment, and at 17, she discovered that her disease was incurable and stopped measures to try to control the cancer.
In October 2024, the influencer resumed treatment, five months into her pregnancy with her first child with her husband, Lucas Borba, after discovering that the lymphoma had grown again.
28 weeks pregnant, the influencer shared that the disease had spread, reaching her lungs. After giving birth, Isabel Veloso began a new stage in cancer treatment.
