Slovak dancer and choreographer Jaro Bekr announced on the second of June that his mother had died. “The feeling that a piece of me has left. The feeling of finality,” he wrote on the social network. Although the Christmas holidays, which he always looked forward to, are approaching, this year will be different. An extremely important person will be missing from the Christmas dinner table.
The husband of actress Monika Hilmerová recalled on Instagram a moment that will remain in his memory forever. “It’s been over half a year now. I remember that Monday very vividly. The sun was shining, it was quite warm and I was cleaning the pool. I got out of it and went to fill the bucket with water, and as I bent down to the faucet, the phone rang. Father. I picked up… I remained silent and after a while I just said: ‘I’m following you'” he described the moment he learned the painful truth.
Memories of his late mother accompany him even in everyday activities such as cooking and baking, during which he still thinks of her. “Not a day goes by that I don’t remember. Just like that, or the most common things around the house that I do… that you taught me. That I first crush the oregano in my hands and only then add it to the food I’m cooking. When I’m baking, I use a skewer to check if the dough is overcooked,” he revealed the details that remind him of her presence.
However, the father of two children can handle washing and ironing without any problems, for which he can once again thank her. “When ironing, as you taught me how to iron the collar and sleeves of the shirt, that when I take the clothes out of the washing machine, I still turn the drum to see if there is any piece of clothing left. Thank you for that.” revealed proven tricks.
Bekra and his family are waiting for the Christmas holidays, which will not be the same as before. “This Christmas will be different. I don’t know exactly how it will be yet, because I haven’t experienced it yet, but we always have an extra one, so we’ll see each other.” bequeathed her to heaven.
