Even during Saturday, fog with visibility of 50 to 200 meters may occur in the entire territory of Slovakia, especially in the morning and night hours. The Slovak Hydrometeorological Institute (SHMÚ) informs about this on its website. He therefore issued a first degree warning.
“Reduced visibility is a potential hazard for traffic activities. The occurrence of fog with the above visibility is common at the given time of year and area, but it can cause damage of a smaller scale,” warns SHMÚ. The warning is provisionally valid for all districts until Monday (December 22).
