The President of the Republic considers that health “is the most transversal problem, more than education – which is more for certain ages and circumstances – and more than housing. May we be less sick”, added Marcelo, in front of an audience of patients and health professionals, at Christmas of the Hospitals.

First, before being president, “I liked teaching”. But now it will be “more kids, not at university anymore: I will teach in primary and secondary education“, he announced. It should be noted that Marcelo will be a guest professor in the USA, at a university in California – but only in 2028.
Second activity: “I liked social works”. It will continue as volunteer in palliative care at Santa Maria Hospital.
Third: he will not return to the media. But it will return to culture: “In fight for reading, for books. I’m going to mix my classes with what I think is so important, which is encouraging reading, for young and old alike.”
