The squad debuts at Paulistão on the 11th and will have a full schedule with a final against Flamengo and an early start to the Brasileirão
Fans will not have an extended vacation and will soon see their team on the field again. After winning the , the black and white team guaranteed participation in the Supercopa Rei and the Libertadores da América, which will transform their calendar in 2026.
Players from the professional squad must return to CT Joaquim Grava in the first days of January. As they had 15 days of vacation in the middle of the year, another 15 days will be compensated at this turn of 2025 to 2026, to total 30 days of rest.
The first challenge will be defending Paulistão’s title. The opening round of the State Championship is scheduled for January 11th, at 4pm, with the duel against Ponte Preta, at the Neo Química Arena. On the 15th, the Parque São Jorge team returns to the field, in Bragança Paulista, to face Red Bull Bragantino, at 7:30 pm. Afterwards, there will be two classics in a row, against São Paulo (the 18th, at home) and Santos (the 22nd, away).
The first cup in dispute, in fact, will be the Supercopa Rei. Corinthians, champion of the Copa do Brasil, faces the winner of the Brasileirão, Flamengo. The match will be on January 24th, which will result in the postponement or anticipation of Corinthians’ game with Velo Clube, scheduled for the 25th.
The location of the decision between Flamengo and Corinthians has not yet been defined. The Mané Garrincha Stadium, in Brasília, the Arena da Amazônia, in Manaus, and the Arena Fonte Nova, in Salvador, are named as the favorites to host the Supercopa Rei.
The Brasileirão starts on the 28th or 29th of January. In the first round, Corinthians faces Bahia, in Itaquera. The exact date and time have not yet been defined by the CBF.
The dreamed of Libertadores will only start for Corinthians on April 8th. The draw that will define the groups should take place on March 18th. Corinthians’ journey to defend the Copa do Brasil title begins only on April 22nd.
