Game between Caldas and SC Braga transferred to Torres Vedras

Caldas, a team from League 3, will host Sporting de Braga at 7pm this Tuesday, in a round of 16 match of the Portuguese Cup. Heavy rain forced a last-minute change in the match stadium.

The intense rain that has been felt across the country forced the change of location for the Caldas-Sporting de Braga game, in the round of 16 of the Portuguese Cup in football, which will be played this Tuesday.

According to (FPF), the intense rain left the Campo da Mata pitch, in Caldas da Rainha, unplayable, and it was decided to change the meeting location to Campo Manuel Marques, in Torres Vedras, moving the start time from 18:45 to 19:00 today.

“After a technical inspection carried out by the FPF and the company RED, responsible for managing the pitch, it was concluded that the ground does not meet the safety conditions for the match”, can be read in the note issued by the federation.

Caldas, a team from League 3, will host Sporting de Braga, a team from the I League, at 7:00 pm, in the round of 16 match of the Portuguese Cup.
