I fry the chicken, add mushrooms, and reach for puff pastry. This snack will be a hit on New Year's Eve

Pleasantly crispy puff pastry, delicate pieces of chicken, fried mushrooms and stringy mozzarella cheese – isn’t this the recipe for success when it comes to something to snack on at a party? This snack is perfect for family gatherings or house parties with friends, such as New Year’s Eve parties. Exactly puff pastry with mushrooms and chicken I plan to prepare for this special evening.

The recipe is simple, the ingredients are available in every major store. Nothing but doing. See how quickly this snack will disappear from the table.

  • 1 sheet of puff pastry (275 g),
  • 2 small chicken breast fillets,
  • 200 g mushrooms,
  • 1 onion,
  • 50 g sour cream,
  • 150 g mozzarella,
  • ½ small bunch of parsley,
  • 1½ teaspoons of chicken seasoning,
  • salt, pepper (to taste),
  • clarified butter (for frying).

Warm the puff pastry. Cut out discs with a diameter of about 8 cm. Knead the rest of the dough, roll it out and cut out subsequent discs. Use the entire dough this way.

Place the dough discs spaced apart on a baking tray lined with baking paper (if not all of them fit, bake on two trays or in two installments).

Cut the chicken fillets into small pieces. Transfer to a bowl. Sprinkle with chicken seasoning. Mix thoroughly – so that the spice reaches every piece. Fry the chicken in a small amount of clarified butter.

Chop the mushrooms and onion. Fry the onion in clarified butter. Add mushrooms to the pan. Fry them. Sprinkle with salt and pepper while frying. At the end, add the cream and mix the ingredients thoroughly. Fry for a while. Turn off the burner.

Chop the parsley finely. Add to the pan along with the chicken. Mix the ingredients.

Grate the mozzarella on the large holes of a grater. Place a small portion of filling on each dough circle. Sprinkle with mozzarella.

Put the tray in the oven preheated to 180°C. Bake for 20 minutes.
