Aeronauts – pilots, co-pilots, flight attendants and other employees who work on board regular commercial flight aircraft – will be able to go on national strike from January 1st. The decision, however, still depends on the results of two category assemblies.

According to the National Union of Aeronauts (SNA), a new salary proposal – presented this Tuesday (23) in a hearing at the Superior Labor Court (TST) – will be evaluated in an online assembly, with voting between the 26th and 28th. If it is rejected, a new in-person assembly is scheduled in the capital of São Paulo, on the 29th, which could trigger the strike from the first day of 2026.

According to the Superior Labor Court (TST), the new proposal was constructed “jointly” by the parties, with a real gain of 0.5% and recomposition of inflation calculated by the National Consumer Price Index (INPC), which would result in a salary increase of 4.68%. The proposal also foresees an adjustment of food vouchers by 8% and other items.

“If this proposal is rejected, the assembly will be maintained [do dia 29] for the strike to take place on January 1st. This caveat is important, so that the category understands: we are ready to strike. We are organized, we will have all the clarifications at the meeting on the 29th. But we were called for a new negotiation [no TST, nesta terça-feira]we came in very good faith and we have a new proposal to discuss with the category”, said the president of the SNA, Tiago Rosa, in a live broadcast with the category, in the early evening of this Tuesday (23).

The National Union of Aviation Companies (Snea) was contacted, but has not yet responded.
