Tiago Esgaio took on the role of Santa Claus to reward Francisco, the Arouca fan who was present, alone, in the game against Santa Clara, in the Azores.
The support of the only Arouquense native in the stands, in the 15th round match that ended in a goalless draw, did not go unnoticed. At the end of the meeting, players and technical staff made a point of personally thanking the gesture.
Days later, the recognition took shape in a special gift. Captain Tiago Esgaio went to meet Francisco to give him a Christmas gift, in a symbolic gesture of gratitude for the unconditional support.
