
Venus Williams (California, 45 years old) and Andrea Preti (Copenhagen, 37 years old) with the idyllic Italian island of Ischia as a setting. It was a private ceremony and not even the newlyweds shared content of the link publicly. However, the tennis player and the model have decided to have a second big celebration in Palm Beach (Florida), and this time they have not hesitated to proclaim it from the rooftops. “They always say that weddings go by very quickly, and they do,” Williams told , who exclusively covered the five days of celebrations.
He wanted to return to his roots in Florida to hold this second ceremony, which was planned by Jennifer Zabinski, of JZ Events, the same company that worked on . “We started on Monday. Serena gave us a beautiful yacht and took care of all the food. We were on the boat with 10 or 12 of our closest family and friends who were in town, and we were singing, dancing, gossiping and just enjoying each other,” the bride described.
Events the week leading up to the ceremony included a bridal shower, pool party, sports day (with volleyball, tennis, dodgeball, wheelbarrow races and pickleball), and a romantic dinner at the Miami Sopra Members Club. Venus finally married Preti in a courthouse wedding on December 19, wearing a dress designed by Morilee New York, according to Vogue. “For me, the ceremony at the courthouse was unique, emotional and profound,” Preti told the publication. “It was the second best day of my life,” he joked, referring to the first wedding.
This time, both Williams and Preti on their respective Instagram profiles, where they have followers. “A dream come true,” the tennis player has written in one of the posts in which he discovers his different looks for the celebrations. “It’s a kind of magic,” says the actor in another publication, in which he describes Williams as his “beautiful wife.”
During the main wedding ceremony, which took place after the nuptials at the courthouse, Preti paraded with her mother to the rhythm of I’ll Be There, of the Jackson 5. “She represented what my mother is to Venus. Whatever happens, she will be there,” he told Vogue. Williams, for his part, came out at the pace of Wherever you will be, from Irama, who, as the model explains to the publication, reminds him of his grandmother, “who died during Covid.” After reading their vows, the couple left with the song Signed, Sealed, Deliveredby Stevie Wonder and, later, they danced I Only Have Eyes for You, by The Flamingos, as you enter the main reception. “When I saw Venus, she was beautiful, like a goddess. As confirmed by Voguethe newlyweds met in 2024, during Milan fashion week. “We met at the Gucci show,” Williams says. “I was in Lake Como, on a sister trip, when I was invited at the last minute and decided to go on a whim, and Andrea was tired. Neither of us planned to go.” However, after the show, the brand’s former creative director, Sabato De Sarno, organized a private aperitif where they met, and the spark immediately flew. “I saw V [Venus] and I wanted to introduce myself,” says Andrea. “I was on the couch with his friends and family. I told her: ‘You’re gorgeous,’ and then she started talking to me in Italian. We chatted for a while and I asked him if he wanted anything. I went to the bar to order something, and his sister Lyn came up to me and said, ‘Do you mind if we talk on WhatsApp?
