French actress Brigitte Bardot died this Sunday (28), aged 91. The information was confirmed by his foundation dedicated to animal welfare.
She was hospitalized in October and November in Toulon, in the south of France, to undergo , but reassured fans at the time and said she was recovering well.
Bardot became world famous in the 1950s and 1960s for her free-spirited performances and sexual magnetism on the silver screen. She starred in films such as “And God Created Woman” (1956) and “The Contempt” (1963). As a singer, she also released several albums during this time.
She stopped acting in the 1970s, moved permanently to the city of Saint-Tropez on the French Riviera, and dedicated herself to the cause of animal welfare through a foundation in her name.
