The Prime Minister of , , travels to , where he is scheduled to meet on Monday (29) with the American President, , in Florida, he confirmed to EFE Agency a spokesperson for his office.

It will be the fifth time that the two presidents have met in the US since the Republican’s return to the White House in January and, although there is no public agenda, it is expected that they will discuss progress towards phase two of the ceasefire in and the alleged threat from and to Israel.

Netanyahu, who according to the Israeli press does not travel with journalists, will speak with Trump at his Mar-a-Lago mansion in Palm Beach, where the Republican is expected to demand progress in the ceasefire that the US helped bring about in October, thanks to which Israel stopped bombing Gaza and withdrew its troops to the so-called “yellow line”.

The second phase of Trump’s 20-point peace plan, which could begin in mid-January, calls for the disarmament of and the establishment of an international stabilization force (FSI), as well as the full withdrawal of Israeli forces from Gaza and a transitional government.

According to Israeli journalist Barak Ravid, a correspondent for Axios and with sources close to Trump in Washington, all members of the president’s inner circle have grown tired of Netanyahu, except Trump himself.

In addition to the five meetings between the two this year in the USA, Trump was in Jerusalem for a few hours on October 13, when the 20 hostages remaining alive in Gaza were released, and on that occasion he made an appeal for peace.

“Israel, with our help, has won everything that can be achieved by force of arms. Now is the time to turn these victories against terrorists into peace and prosperity for the entire Middle East,” Trump said in a speech to the Israeli Parliament in Jerusalem.

At the same time, in Israel, unease is increasing these days around the ‘Qatargate’ case, according to which Netanyahu’s advisors had received payments from Qatar to promote Doha’s interests during the offensive in Gaza, and in relation to the bill for the conscription of ultra-Orthodox, which today announced a new massive protest demonstration.
