Professional and volunteer firefighters are working early Sunday evening to extinguish the fire in the poultry farm hall in Vištuk in the Pezinok district. “At the moment, no injured or killed persons have been reported from the scene of the attack,” informed TASR from the Operations Center of the Regional Directorate of the Fire and Rescue Service (KR HaZZ) in Bratislava.
The fire was reported at 4:29 p.m., almost 40 firefighters are on the scene. “Among them are members of the HaZZ from Bratislava, Trnava, Pezinok and Senac, as well as members of the volunteer fire brigades from the municipalities of Budmerice, Šenkvice, Blatná, Voderada and Častá,” they said from the operations center. They added that they are extinguishing the fire with the help of 13 vehicles and fire engines.
