Government of Acre cancels New Year’s Eve party, and City Hall maintains schedule

The State Government decided to cancel the New Year’s Eve party that would be held on the Gameleira promenade. The information was confirmed to the ContilNet this Tuesday (30).

Previously, Governor Gladson Cameli had announced that the year-end program would be different, with attractions aimed only at children and fireworks. The project, however, ended up being cancelled.

The only program planned for the date will be that of Rio Branco City Hall, at Praça da Revolucion, with local attractions and fireworks.

The opening of the shows is scheduled for 6pm, with Álamo Kário. At 8pm, the group Pagodinho from HG takes the stage, followed, at 10pm, by the band Pegada Prime. During breaks and throughout the program, DJ El Mascarado will be in charge of the music.

In addition to the musical attractions, Revolution Square will feature Santa Claus and children’s characters.
